Net debt

Total subordinated loans, debenture loans and private placements including current portions and short-term debt and financial lease obligations subtracted by cash and cash equivalents(including investments in money market funds), available-for-sale financial assets. Only when these liabilities are greater than these assets, will the net debt amount be included in further ratio calculations - particularly return on capital employed (ROCE) and Enterprise Value.
