Market operator
Is a company or entity that organizes one or more secondary markets for financial instruments. The Securities Regulation Fund organizes as market operator the regulated off-exchange market in linear bonds, strips and treasury certificates. A market operator establishes for its market the market rules, determines the conditions to be fulfilled for being market member, guarantees the transparency, fixes the rules and procedures concerning the reporting and publication of transactions, supervises compliance with all these rules and takes sanctions in case of infringement of the rules.
